At ICL, we believe in the power of community and the importance of supporting initiatives that bring people together.

One of the ways we contribute is through our sponsorship of grassroots football clubs, helping to provide young players with opportunities to develop their skills, build confidence, and enjoy the game in a positive and supportive environment.

For several years, we have proudly partnered with several local football clubs, offering financial support and resources to ensure they can continue to thrive. These clubs play a vital role in their communities, fostering a love for the sport while promoting teamwork, discipline, and inclusivity.

Woodham Radars Football Club

Woodham Radars has been at the heart of the community since its establishment in 1972. Over the past 50 years, the club has remained dedicated to its ethos of player development through fun and fairness. Their philosophy is simple: by prioritising enjoyment, players naturally grow in confidence, rise to challenges, and develop both individually and as part of a team. Winning, when it happens, is a by-product of this positive approach.

ICL is proud to be the primary sponsor of Woodham Radars’ Girls Under-16 team, a partnership that began when the team was formed in 2021. We’re delighted to support these talented young players as they continue to develop and compete.

South Woodham Ferrers United

Based in Essex, South Woodham Ferrers United is a volunteer-led football club committed to making the sport accessible to all. The club runs Development Squad and Wildcats sessions for children aged 3-6, as well as overseeing more than 35 youth teams for boys and girls aged 7-18. With a strong community focus, the club prides itself on providing a welcoming environment where players of all abilities can enjoy football.

ICL has been a proud sponsor of the Lions Under-11 team since its formation in 2022. We are thrilled to support this team as they develop their skills and grow their love for the game.

Perry Street Football Club

Founded in 1987 by a local scout group, Perry Street Football Club has grown from a single team into a thriving community with over 20 teams playing at their home ground in Barleylands. Entirely self-funded and run by dedicated volunteers, the club has always been an inclusive space where children of all abilities can enjoy football in a safe and encouraging environment.

For the 2024/25 season, ICL is excited to sponsor the Boys Under-10 team. We’re looking forward to seeing these young players develop, have fun, and make lifelong memories on the pitch.
